Now, more than ever, we need to unite in collaborative action for gender equality because it has been proven to be the most effective way to accelerate progress. We have tremendous power, especially at the local level, to activate now and build momentum as we move forward.
To facilitate collective impact, we are building a Network City Program to advance systemic change and empower women and girls, city by city.
Here’s how the Network City Program works:
As an individual participant in the Network City Program, you will have the opportunity to:
Participate in 'Calling All Women' Video Conferences
This year, we launched Calling All Women*, a series of video conference calls that allow individuals and organizations to connect with and learn from one another, and coordinate grassroots-level action toward gender equity in cities across the country. As a part of the network, you'll be invited to join these calls.
Take Action with Your Network City Chapter
When you join the network, you will become part of a network of inspiring leaders in your area who will come together to effect systemic, sustainable change around gender equality in your city. You'll also be invited to Network City chapter events that give you the opportunity to connect with local leaders and other engaged citizens.
Connect with Leaders & Decision Makers
As a network participant, you will be invited to national It's Time Network events that bring together leaders and decision makers from across sectors who are creating change right now. You will also gain exposure to thought leaders and experts who are working to elevate the status of women and girls worldwide.
*Everyone across the gender spectrum is invited to be a part of the network, and to these calls.
For It's Time Network to be able to support this connection and action, we are requesting a minimum contribution of $12 from each new individual participant in the network. If you would like to engage further, consider contributing to help us sustain long-term impact in our cities.
